Participatory action research in Ottawa involving eight adults with multiple disabilities, support workers, professional musicians, teachers and facilitators.

Predictable session structures, response time and adapted improvisation supported involvement. Latency and unequal camera arrangements complicated connection.

Some responses were interpreted with support workers rather than given as direct self-report. The selected project did not include a causal comparison or long-term outcomes; early co-design did not fully include support workers.
